These gastropods are small, only 3/8- 3/4 in. (0.95-1.9 cm) high and wide and tend to be yellow, orange, or even dark brown. They are found along the western Atlantic coast from Labrador to New Jersey on intertidal rocks and among seaweed. They are also found along the eastern Atlantic coast of Europe. |
