Shore Shrimp, Grass Shrimp
(Palaemonetes spp.)

Shore shrimp are the most common shrimp living in New England coastal waters. They are omnivores and will eat almost anything. Shore shrimp are transparent gray with red, yellow and blue spots on their backs. They grow to be 3/4"-2" (2-5 cm) long.
