We've gotten sidetracked. Let's get back to seining. Don't forget to watch your step. We'll start here and walk back over to where the buckets are. This won't take us much time at all. We're getting really good at this. Okay, pull the net up. Same things. No moon jelly, but look at all the other jellies that we managed to catch. How many did we catch? Wow, there are 14 of them. It's hard to see them because they are colorless. Are there any other types of fish? I only see the silversides, killifish and mummichogs.
Why is the net moving? What's under that edge? Lift up the net. Oh, it's a green crab. Quick, catch him before he makes it back to the water. He's a fast one. Wait, maybe it is a she. How do we find out? Look at its underside? You pick it up and I'll look. It has a rounded section on the underside. That's supposed to mean it is a female. So, she's a fast one. If it had a triangular section on its underside it would be a male.

Well, it's time to go. Let's dump the buckets over there and let the critters return to the pond.
