Let's keep an eye out for Brian, our second guest, he should be around here somewhere. Brian works for the Department of Environmental Management (DEM) and is also a biologist. Does anyone spot him, yet?There he is.
"Hi, Brian, thanks forcoming. This is really an interesting side of the marsh, but this south side looks so different from the north side. What's going on?"
"Well, let me tell you. A long time ago this used to be as healthy as the north side, but when the state of Rhode Island built the Galilee Escape Road, it divided the marsh and starved this side of a normal tidal flow.
