Let's catch up to Brian and hear what else there is to know about this place. I feel like I am watching the salt marsh get well right before my eyes. Isn't this an awesome way to learn!"Well, you found out that the fish are beginning to find their way here, right? You also discovered that the spartinas will flourish as the salt water levels reach these mudflats, more and more. What else do you notice about this side of the marsh?"
"We see a lot of birds here. We can even see their tracks over here."
"Exactly, this was a sanctuary for shorebirds and they are either finding new areas to nest or being introduced to the saltmarsh critters that they can feed on now.," Brian replied.
"Well, as we continue to walk along, you might see other tracks. Do you think you could identify them?"
"My brother showed me deer tracks once, but I don't really recall what they looked like," someone said.
"Maybe you'll find some along the way," said Kenny.
